SportsShoes.com strengthens marketing team to support growth
SportsShoes.com has made six new appointments within its marketing team to support its growth strategy.
The online running shoes, running clothing and outdoor gear retailer’s new hires include Ben Jenkins joining as senior partner brand marketing manager after spending seven years at specialist sports, gaming and entertainment creative agency, Ear to the Ground.
He has been joined by brand executive Steffi Edwards, who has previously held marketing roles at Sweaty Betty and Anthropologie.
Expanding the online performance team is Sian Wells as a senior performance marketing specialist, who has joined from parcel delivery comparison website Parcel2Go.
In addition, Lauren Hanson has taken on the role of performance marketing executive, following marketing positions at online identity platform SmartSearch.com.
Meanwhile Florence Aldridge has stepped into the role of customer relationship management executive, bringing her experience from Lights4Fun and online retailer Buy It Direct.
Completing the line-up is Mia France, an accomplished runner, who has become the retailer’s events executive. Specialising in event management, France was previously responsible for marketing at Ilkley Golf Club.

In the year to 28 February 2025, SportsShoes.com grew its sales by 4% to deliver a record turnover of £93.3 million.
