Ribble Cycles expands team

Following a successful 2017, cycling retailer and manufacturer Ribble Cycles has appointed two new senior staff members as it introduces new product ranges.

Having increased its number of employees by 52% to 82 from February 2016, the retailer has hired Daniel Mckay as acquisitions manager and Antony Peart as head of marketing.

Mckay said: “I’m looking forward to helping continue our impressive growth in the cycling industry. I will be utilising my experience of delivering the right messages to customers at the right time.”

Peart added: “The brand and the business model makes us somewhat unique in the cycling marketplace, offering great bikes for all levels of cycling.”

Alongside the new additions to the team, Ribble is expanding its online offering in 2017 to include product ranges such as POC, Proviz, Fat Lad at the Back, 4iiii Powermeters and an exclusive online partnership with Limar.

Ribble Cycles has also recently opened the doors to its new flagship showroom in Birmingham’s Mailbox shopping centre. The space will feature Ribble’s new 2017 bike range including the brand new Gran Fondo, reworked R872 and Sportive Racing.
