Gymshark appoints chief product officer

Gymshark has appointed Danielle Petesic as its chief product officer.

In her new role, she will oversee a 130-strong team and will be responsible for end-to-end product creation from design to delivery. This will include product engineering, product marketing and the strategy for the company’s supply chain.

Petesic previously worked for almost four years with fitness brand Lululemon where she was vice president of product development. Prior to that, she worked with Mansur Gavriel, Alice and Olivia, Steven Allan and Helmut Lang. She has moved to the UK from Canada to take up her new role.

Steve Hewitt, chief executive of Gymshark, said: “The CPO role at Gymshark is driven by two things: to create an exciting environment for our team so they can thrive, and to ultimately design, build and deliver world class product to our engaged and knowledgeable community,

“When we met Danielle, it was quickly evident that, given her international credentials and experience, she will help elevate Gymshark to the next level as we embark on our next chapter of growth.”
