Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield appoints managing director for UK and Italy
Westfield owner Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has appointed Scott Parsons as regional managing director for the UK and Italy.
Due to join the business on 13 November, Parsons will report to Michel Dessolain, URW’s chief operating officer for Europe, and will be responsible for the asset portfolios and development projects in the two countries.
He has over 25 years of investment, finance and operations experience in the real estate sector. This has included managing a diverse portfolio of assets such as theatres, cinemas, leisure and residential schemes.
Dessolain said: “Scott will be part of our growth story against the backdrop of a rapidly changing industry, particularly in the UK. We have the best assets and the best teams to deliver success and are delighted that Scott will lead our UK and Italy business. His experience is of significant value to the group as we increase our focus on densification and mixed-use developments.”
