Queensberry hires new asset manager

Shopping centre owner Queensberry has appointed Alex Hyams as asset manager.

With over ten years’ experience in property and asset management, Hyams previously worked at Morgan Management where he managed a property portfolio worth around £500 million.

At Queensberry, he will help advise on existing assets in the firm’s investment portfolio. He will also provide support on the acquisition of new stock and help identify new opportunities across the UK.

Paul Sargent, chief executive of Queensberry, said: “This is an exciting time with some assets being repriced, which provides us greater market opportunity. To support our acquisition strategy and as we look to take advantage of this, it is ever more important for us to grow our expertise in asset management. Alex’s skills and knowledge will complement and fit in perfectly with our already established team, enabling us to maximise returns.”
