Queensberry appoints leasing director

Queensberry has strengthened its leasing team with the appointment of Keith Stone as leasing director.

Stone’s remit will include supporting leasing for Heart of the City II in Sheffield and The Glass Works in Barnsley.

His previous experience includes working for major retail property and development companies including Land Securities and Lendlease. Past projects at the companies included the likes of Bluewater, Cabot Circus Bristol and Grand Central Birmingham.

Paul Sargent, chief executive of Queensberry, said Stone had been a friend of the company for many years and understood the way it works.

He added: “This is an important time for two of our key projects, as Heart of the City II gains real momentum, with the completion of Grosvenor House and construction starting nearby on Blocks B and C of the masterplan.

“Whilst The Glass Works has a number of significant milestones approaching with construction work well underway for phase two of the scheme. This is combined with the opening of Market Kitchen, an independent food court, planned for later this year.
