Manchester Arndale hires new head of marketing

The Manchester Arndale shopping centre has appointed Lisa Henderson as head of marketing.

Having worked more than 10 years in marketing and PR, Henderson was previously consumer experience marketing manager for EMEA at footwear brand UGG. Her prior roles also include marketing manager positions at jeweller Links of London and the Jaeger fashion brand.

With a focus on the consumer, Henderson plans to work with Manchester Arndale’s line-up of over 200 national, international and local brands to deliver the right omnichannel experience for shoppers.

David Allinson, centre director at Manchester Arndale, said: “Lisa’s extensive experience will prove hugely valuable as we seek to work closely with our enviable line-up of stores to ensure Manchester Arndale further cements its reputation as one of the UK’s leading retail hubs. With the redevelopment at Halle Place kicking off soon, the centre is about to enter another new and exciting chapter and I know Lisa will be a welcome addition to our established management team.”

Manchester Arndale’s owners Intu and M&G Real Estate are currently investing £11 million in creating the new Halle Place dining destination at the centre.
