London Designer Outlet reports strong Black Friday trading

Wembley’s London Designer Outlet saw its revenue climb by 7% year-on-year over the Black Friday weekend.

In addition, there was a 6.8% uplift in like-for-like sales.

The mixed fashion category performed particularly well and accounted for more than 30% of the centre’s sales. Furthermore, sports and footwear both exceeded their targets for the weekend.

Sue Shepherd, Realm’s general manager of London Designer Outlet, said: “Our growth of total and like-for-like sales show the progress made in the six years since we opened and our consistent trading track record. The results show that our guests, whether they travel from near or from far, enjoy the experience we provide and the combination of retail, restaurants, coffee shops plus a nine-screen Cineworld.”

Retailers at the centre include the likes of Kurt Geiger, Superdry, Guess, Gap, Lee Wrangler, Lindt, Clarks, M&S and Beauty Outlet.
