Liverpool ONE launches virtual enlivenment programme during lockdown

The Liverpool ONE shopping destination has introduced a range of online initiatives to help families stay entertained during lockdown.

Having originally launched its Dinosaurs Unleashed event to entertain visitors at Liverpool ONE, the event has now been adapted to enable it to be played in homes and gardens.  In addition, the shopping centre’s popular Tickle the Ivories pianos have been taken online in a virtual festival called Tickle at Home via a dedicated YouTube channel.

Liverpool ONE has also created a new version of its logo to support the stay at home message.

Alison Clegg, director of asset management at Grosvenor Europe, said: “The evidence that people need to feel connected during the lockdown is overwhelming, and our stay-at-home virtual experiences have been launched to help achieve that.  Dinosaurs Unleashed is already creating a sense of community online, while Tickle at Home is bringing a smile to people, proving we do not have to be isolated from one another, or the places we love, even in these difficult times.”
