Covent Garden gears up for 15 June shop reopenings

A range of retailers within London’s Covent Garden shopping district will be reopening their doors on 15 June.

All will have strict Covid-19 health and safety measures in place.

Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, Dior and Tiffany & Co have all adapted their stores in line with government guidelines with measures such as marked queuing systems, social distancing signage and hand sanitiser introduced.

In addition, luxury accessories brand Mulberry will offer both one-on-one and virtual store appointments while Tiffany & Co. will be provide customers with a dedicated concierge service, one-to-one tailored appointments, accompanied browsing, and virtual styling sessions. Meanwhile, Charlotte Tilbury will be running a click/call-and-collect service and will be hosting its masterclasses over zoom in the coming weeks.

A new one-way system has been introduced in Covent Garden’s iconic market building and the area will be adopting an estate-wide uniform approach to queuing. In addition, hand sanitiser stations will be available across the entire estate.

There are also plans for the installation of a new public seating area to enable shoppers to sit according to social distanced spacing.
