Tranxactor and IRC launch booost, the unique ‘umbrella’ loyalty programme for retailers

Tranxactor have developed ‘booost’ in conjunction with the IRC, which is a technology toolkit that combines Loyalty, Gifting and Promotions in a mobile app for both merchants and consumers.

Tranxactor, experts in loyalty, CRM and closed-loop payment systems made waves at the recent award ceremony for the UK Best Small Shops Competition 2018, announcing a new partnership with the hosts the IRC (Independent Retailers Confederation).

Tranxactor have developed ‘booost’ in conjunction with the IRC, which is a technology toolkit that combines Loyalty, Gifting and Promotions in a mobile app for both merchants and consumers.

booost is an ‘umbrella’ programme that allows individual independent retailers to plug into the technology and manage their own loyalty and reward programmes, as well as accepting payment via a national digital Gift ‘Card’. With booost, independent retailers will be able to create their own loyalty programmes, rewarding shoppers with points, discounts or special offers when they choose to shop.

CEO John Norrie said of the launch;

“Tranxactor was delighted to be involved as a sponsor and a member of the judging panel for this year’s awards and to work with the Independent Retailers Confederation (IRC) which represents around 100,000 independent retailers throughout the UK.

We have developed the new booost toolkit with them, which is perfect for anyone wanting a way to manage loyalty and reward programmes from one easy to use system. The awards entrants at the UK Best Small Shops Competition showed so much innovation and initiative in the independent retail sector, with the winning entries demonstrating a real commitment to customer service, there’s never been a better time for us to announce the launch booost.”

John continues:

“When people shop independent they are supporting small businesses and booost allows that to be rewarded. Through booost, small shops will be able to create their own loyalty programmes, rewarding consumers with points, discounts or special offers. Consumers will also be able to gift a digital voucher via the app to spend in any participating independent shop nationwide. On top of this, with booost consumers will be able to choose to receive promotions from local shops, direct to their mobile.”

“booost is a great example of what we call an ‘umbrella’ loyalty programme, where Tranxactor provides all the web and mobile resources and infrastructure making it easy and fast for independent retailers to take advantage of our platform.  In Australia, we provide the Life Club ‘umbrella’ loyalty programme for independent and small group pharmacies.  It is a great concept, and part of our commitment to support independent retailers.”

The booost loyalty app for indie retailers launches on Dec 1st. Retailers who sign up by c.o.b 30/11/18 will get 1 month’s free access to the booost scheme* (monthly fee only, does not include redemption fees.) Pre-register now at https://booost.life/
