Masters of AI | How to win the Black Friday Battle | Thursday 3 September

As retailers continue to try and steady the ship after a turbulent 2020, this year’s Black Friday could well prove to be the most important one yet. The pressure is on, and retail businesses need to ensure that they’re maximizing their margins and powering profitability. On Black Friday, the key to doing this is by delivering an exceptional consumer experience across the entire value chain, from order through to delivery.

On 3 September we’re gathering a handful of industry experts to discuss how retailers such as PrettyLittleThing, Superdry and Footasylum prepare for the most important day in the retail calendar. They’ll be answering questions and explaining how all retail functions – from marketing to merchandising to logistics – have a part to play in delivering a great consumer experience, and how this can lead to victory in the Black Friday battle.

The event will be hosted by Peak’s Retail Director and former Footasylum Head of Commerce, Tom Summerfield, will also share his insight and interview our esteemed guest speakers.

Agenda:

17:00 BST – Welcome and introductions – Tom Summerfield, Retail Director, Peak

17:15 BST – Interview with Matt Holmes – Head of Digital Marketing at PrettyLittleThing

17:35 BST – Interview with Scott Robertson, Founder of Sqwyz and Ex-Head of Merchandising at Superdry

17:55 BST – Closing remarks from Peak
