For the past 8 years he has held CEO and MD positions at Dixons Carphone plc. In Ireland he transformed the Carphone Warehouse business from a predominantly retail orientated sales channel into a multichannel experience, incorporating retail and web channels along with social media to create a seamless end-to-end interactive journey for customers. Most recently, he led the Joint Venture between Dixons Carphone plc and Sprint Inc. in the United States - where he started the retail business, built the infrastructure and assembled the team. He was instrumental in establishing Ann Summers as a High Street brand by opening over 100 stores in 3 years; integrating the Knickerbox brand into the existing business; and building the operational and people structure that underpinned the brand values during a period of significant growth, which included international expansion in Spain and the Republic of Ireland.
