Ted Baker to offer ship from store

Ted Baker is  offering a new ship from store service as part of plans to enhance the customer experience.

The service will also encompass express click and collect.

The move means that Ted Baker store teams will now receive click and collect instructions directly from an app. Previously, the orders were shipped from a central warehouse. The same app will also enable store staff to access ship from store orders. These will be claimed competitively by qualifying stores, then packed and sent off to customers.

The fashion brand is partnering with OneStock on the service.

Clare Harrison-Empson, head of global retail operations at Ted Baker, said:. “The main drivers for the ship from store project are to enable greater product availability on Ted’s website while maintaining a better sell-through rate of full-priced items within the store.”

The ship from store service will be rolled out in the UK before being extended to the US and stores in the Middle East and Asia.
