Graze expands into Ireland

Healthy snack brand Graze has launched its direct-to-consumer offering in the Republic of Ireland.

The move is part of plans to expand into additional European markets including Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands.

Graze used its “test and go live” strategy for the launch which happened last month. The company has now acquired over 5,000 customers in the country and has been able to react rapidly to feedback from Irish consumers.

The business used a similar approach when it launched in the US in 2013. It has now sold  selling over $150 million worth of snacks in the country.

The entry into Ireland follows the launch of a range of new products in 2019. These include the brand’s revamped Lively Lemon Flapjacks that have 50% less sugar than the average cereal bar, and its new under 100 calorie ‘wow bakes’ range.

Anthony Fletcher, chief executive of Graze, said: “As the UK’s number one snacking brand, we’re really excited to be expanding our geographical footprint as we look to disrupt the European healthy snacking market over the coming year.”
