Boots supports goverment in rolling out Covid-19 testing for NHS workers
Boots UK is helping the government to roll out Covid-19 testing facilities for NHS workers.
Locations are currently being decided and will be spread across the UK, but testing will not be taking place in Boots stores.
In a statement, Seb James, managing director of Boots UK and ROI, said the company is working with the NHS to recruit trained professionals from both the Boots workforce and wider community.
He added: “I am extremely proud that Boots is supporting Covid-19 testing for NHS workers. Boots has been at the heart of UK healthcare for 171 years and has always come forward to support the community in times of need.
“I am sure there will be many trained healthcare clinicians and students, who will step forward to support our dedicated NHS colleagues.”
