Wiggle works with RedPrairie to achieve E-commerce expansion plans

The online cycle retailer aims to deliver even higher levels of customer service as part of its international expansion aspirations.

As one of the top five online sports sites, Wiggle has grown by over 50% in the last three years. This expansion has led to the company doubling its warehousing capacity, enabling it to stock in excess of 250,000 products. RedPrairie says that its WMS solution will ensure Wiggle can effectively manage continued growth within its logistics operation and support its aim to deliver even higher levels of customer service.

Wiggle’s international success continues to develop, whereby, it now delivers to over 90 countries, and its online store receives more than a million visits per week. In addition to its English site, Wiggle has local language sites for France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, China and Japan, and more planned for the future.

Nicholas Pink, Operations Director at Wiggle, added, “With an aggressive plan to achieve our international strategy, we required a highly scalable system. RedPrairie’s WMS has proven capabilities in a high-volume environment, and will enable us to better manage our
growth, while increasing productivity, accuracy and customer satisfaction.”
