WH Smith opens store at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4
WH Smith has opened its first news, book and stationery store at the new Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4.
This is the first of a total of ten stores which will have phased openings across all terminals from January to March 2018.
The new concept store features a contemporary design with light wood and white finishing and clear navigational signage to help with the customer journey.
WH Smith international chairman Louis de Bourgoing said: “The Changi Airport stores are of significant importance to WH Smith in Asia and our investment in the new concept stores demonstrates our commitment to both the airport and the region.”
Changi Airport’s Terminal 4 will have a capacity of 16 million passengers to bring the total capacity of Changi Airport to 82 million passengers annually. Nine airlines will operate from the terminal including Cathay Pacific, Korean Airlines, the Air Asia group, Cebu Pacific, Spring Airlines and Vietnam Airlines.
