Waitrose relaunches its flower and gift websites
Waitrose has relaunched its flower and gifts websites in a further expansion of its online growth.
While Waitrose Florist showcases a range of hand-tied flowers and plants, Waitrose Gifts offers hampers from the likes of Duchy Originals from Waitrose, the National Trust and cheese specialist Paxton & Whitfield. In total, around 160 products will be available across the two websites.
The retailer said the relaunches are a response to customer demand as visits to the existing Waitrose Gifts and Florist websites have risen by 51% and 35% respectively compared to last year.
Robert McCarthy, Waitrose’s head of online trading, said: "The new waitroseflorist.com and waitrosegifts.com websites showcase our fantastic range of flowers, plants and food gifts and we know our customers will enjoy exploring all they have to offer. These two new websites build on the success of launching waitrosecellar.com and waitrosepet.com last year.”
