Waitrose creates cookery show for Easter
Waitrose has created an online TV cookery show featuring celebrity chefs cooking up dishes for the long Easter weekend.
Hosted by comedian and Great British Bake Off presenter Sue Perkins, 'Easter made Easy' is an hour-long online show on waitrose.tv that includes appearances by Waitrose brand ambassador Heston Blumenthal, celebrity chef Brian Turner and the Masterchef 2010 champion Dhruv Baker.
As part of the show, Blumenthal recreates special dish remembered from his own childhood while Brian Turner takes on Waitrose Cookery School chef Gordon McDermott in a seafood challenge to create an easy fish starter in five minutes.
Waitrose digital editor Courtney Freedman-Thompson explained: “We are giving people some easy ideas made with great ingredients to enjoy with family and friends this Easter.”
The show was filmed at the Waitrose Cookery School in Finchley Road in front of a live audience.
