Urban Outfitters to debut in Cheltenham

Urban Outfitters is to open a new store in Cheltenham as part of its UK expansion plans.

The retailer has signed up to an 8,000 square foot unit in the newly extended retail arm of The Brewery Quarter where the line-up includes the likes of Calvin Klein, Levi’s and Vivienne Westwood.

A spokesperson for Urban Outfitters said: “We’re extremely excited to confirm plans for our Cheltenham store; the town has a superb retail heritage with many great brands already having representation. The Brewery Quarter is the perfect location for us offering a prominent High Street presence in a popular, established scheme.”

The new store will be the brand’s 30th store in the UK and is expected to open in the autumn.

Anne Hurrell, asset manager of NFU Mutual, the owner of The Brewery Quarter, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Urban Outfitters to The Brewery Quarter. The store is a must for the fashion conscious high street shopper and is a welcome coup for Cheltenham and The Brewery Quarter. It shows vested confidence in the centre’s prime retail location and unrivalled offer.”
