Toy Fair is sold out: 30 per cent bigger, 20 per cent more exhibitors

The 58th annual Toy Fair is now sold out – a full 12 weeks and one day before the show opens. First time exhibitor Wow! Stuff bagged the very last stand.

Toy Fair takes place 25-27 January 2011 at Olympia’s Grand Hall in London. The 2011 event is 30 per cent bigger in terms of floor space and, with over 200 stands on the show floor, exhibitor numbers are also up by one fifth.

53 companies at Toy Fair 2011 are first time exhibitors, including Commotion Group, Educational Learning, Half Moon Bay, IQ Games, Liquid Graphic, Pants on Fire, Spinawina and Tykee Toys.

Marvin’s Magic, MV Sports & Leisure and Hornby Hobbies are among those returning to Toy Fair after time away. And steadfast supporters returning in 2011 include Bandai, Character Options, Corinthian, Flair, Golden Bear, Grossman, Hasbro, HTI, Lego, Ravensburger, Re: Creation, Spin Master and Vivid Toy Group.

“It’s incredible that Toy Fair has sold out six weeks ahead on last year, but even more so to think the show is one third bigger and the buzz will extend upstairs with the likes of Bladez, Playmobil, Revell and Tomy on the gallery level,” said Simon Pilling, BTHA fairs and events manager.
