Topps Tiles reports 2.1% rise in l-f-l sales
Topps Tiles, the UK's largest tile retailer, said its sales were in line with management expectations as it reported a 2.1% increase in like-for-like revenues in its third quarter.
This compares to decline of 1.9% in the same quarter last year.
In the 13 weeks ended 30 June, Topps Tiles opened three new stores taking the total to 322. The company is targeting a total of 325 stores by the year end.
In its interim management statement issued today the company said: "The result for the third quarter is in line with management's expectations and, as we enter our final financial quarter, we remain comfortable with market expectations for the year as a whole."
