Tiger opens Oxford Street store
Danish homewares retailer Tiger has opened a new store on Londons Oxford Street.
To mark the opening, the company ran a Free Tiger London Bus circulating the West End on Friday. Festooned in Tiger decorations with entertainment on board, the bus collected passengers from designated lollipop stops and took them directly to the store.
Tiger London & South East chief executive Philip Bier said: “Having already opened in Westfield Stratford City this month, August has been an extremely busy period for Tiger. We are delighted and proud to be opening our flagship store on London’s Oxford Street. Taking on our largest team to date, we are helping to bring unemployed Londoners back into work.”
The opening means the retailer now operates 29 stores across London and the South East.
