The Yellow Line launches first UK concept store
The two companies have chosen London’s Luton Airport as the first location for the new concept store which sells brands such as Eastpak, North Face, Kipling, Timberland and Napapijri.
The Yellow Line’s logo, in-store navigation and branding has been inspired by the airport location, with the use of aeroplane steps and luggage trolley displays. The store also features yellow lines to lead customers to the right luggage for their specific journey.
The store opening marks the start of Rolling Luggage’s wider strategy to provide a "directional and solution driven shopping experience for the time conscious traveller".
Rupert Lawrie, commercial director of Luton Airport, said: "The opening of The Yellow Line concept store at London Luton, as well as being a world first, is a significant step along our path to a major upgrade of the retail and catering mix at London Luton."
