Tesco magazine UK's most read printed publication
Following year-on-year growth of 8% during the year to September, Tesco magazine now has a readership of 7.2 million, exceeding all national press and magazines, the NRS figures have revealed.
The results of the survey show that The Sun has a readership of 7.1 million while Asda magazine has 6 million readers. Sainsbury’s magazine has 3.4 million readers and Marks & Spencer’s Your M&S has 3.7 million.
Published by content marketing agency Cedar, Tesco magazine features fashion, beauty and lifestyle articles as well as a range of recipes and celebrity interviews.
Tesco magazine’s editor Helen Johnston said: “Tesco magazine succeeds because of our unique reader insight, award-winning features and unprecedented reach.”
“What's clear from these results is that right now, when it comes to print, branded content is king.”
