Tesco launches new website to promote milk
Tesco has launched a new dairy website to promote the nutritional benefits of milk.
Hosted on the Tesco Real Food website, the dairy site highlights the work of the supermarket giant’s milk supply group, Tesco Sustainable Dairy Group.
Tescomilk.com features content for Tesco customers as well as a password protected area for dairy farmers.
The magazine style site includes a video showing customers the journey from farm to fridge, as well as recipes and interactive games for children to highlight the health benefits of milk and to teach them about dairy farming.
There is also a regular blog by a farmer’s daughter Jo North who will write about living and working on her family’s dairy farm in West Sussex.
Tesco director of dairy Sean McCurly said: “This new website is a great source of information for customers on what makes Tecso milk better and why milk is an important part of a healthy diet.”
