Ted Baker appoints new non-exec directors

Fashion retailer Ted Baker has expanded its board with the appointment of Anita Balchandani and Jennifer Roebuck as non-executive directors.

In a statement, the company said the duo will provide additional experience in digital and “other related areas” to support the continued growth of the business.

Balchandani is a partner of OC&C Strategy Consultants and is currently a non-executive director at Majestic Wine and Space NK.

Meanwhile, Roebuck is the co-founder of the REVL events app and has previously held senior marketing and ecommerce roles at French Connection and Warehouse.

The company has also reported that Anne Sheinfield has stepped down as a non-executive director after more than seven years in the role.

Bernstein said: "We are delighted that Anita and Jennifer have joined the Ted Baker Board as non-executive directors. Their retail and digital experience will be invaluable as we continue to develop the brand and we look forward to their respective contributions going forward.

"On behalf of the board and all here at Ted, I would like to thank Anne for her significant contribution, and we wish her the very best for the future."
