Swarovski unveils social wish list for social media channels

Swarovski has launched a Wish List tool across its social platforms as it looks to monetize its social media presence.

Created by digital media agency Perfect Fools, the tool allows a Wish List link to be posted in all Swarovski Facebook, Twitter, G+ and Pinterest product posts through which fans can “Wish List” the product.

If selected, the product is then automatically added to the individual’s Wish List, which can then be seen and shopped for by friends and family who follow a link to Swarovski’s e-commerce to follow through on the purchase.

The Wish List can also be set to appear on Facebook Walls ahead of calendar dates such as birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, and anniversaries.

Perfect Fools also designed the tool to be a bridge between social media and retail stores. People accessing the Wish List via a smartphone can also locate the nearest Swarvoski store to complete the purchase in person.
