Supergroup chooses Box Cielo to add performance and durability to its back office PC estate

Supergroup, the owner of the Superdry fashion brand, has opted to upgrade all managers' back-office PCs for its UK and Ireland store estate. The company has selected the Cielo product from solutions provider Box Technologies.

The roll-out, which began in May 2013, will see 130 units installed across the UK with further units required for international expansion.

The Cielo modular is a high performance point-of-sale PC that is designed with high flexibility and scalability in mind. This i3 modular unit offers in-store flexibility allowing it to be utilised in the back office.

Neil Hooper, business systems manager at Supergroup, said: "We selected the Box cielo solution, after a competitive tender, due to the physical size of the product, its durability and also its high processing power and speed. It is well designed and built, and is completely fit for a demanding retail environment."

Ian Patterson, head of retail at Box Technologies, added: "We're pleased to be working with Supergroup, and hope that the IT team will be pleased with the output from the cielo. It is gratifying to know that such a prominent global brand endorses the new range as 'fit for retail'.

"We also look forward to further developing the relationship, and supporting Supergroup in the years to come."

Box's retail solutions address a wide range of retail challenges and opportunities including online store design and merchandising, mobile payment solutions, loss prevention, facial recognition and digital signage with content management.
