Superdrug opens second new concept store

Superdrug has chosen Watford as the location of its second new health and wellbeing concept store. The move follows the launch of the first store in Banbury last year.

As well as stocking hundreds of own-brand and branded products, the newly designed 3,048 square foot store on Watford High Street includes a second in-store pharmacist, information touch screens and two dedicated consultation rooms.

Services on offer include travel, HPV and flu vaccinations, HIV tests, smoking cessation, blood pressure checks, weight management counselling and sexual health advice.

The store also offers an online doctor click and collect service and an NHS and private prescriptions service.

Steve Gray, healthcare director for Superdrug, said: “We are delighted to be continually investing in our health and pharmacy product and service offering with the launch of our second health and wellbeing concept store in Watford. We hope our customers will love the new store look as much as we do, and benefit from the improved health and wellbeing shopability and extended services on offer to the local community.”
