STV launches daily deals service
Following on the heels of the likes of Groupon, Wahanda and Keynoir, the new service will deliver locally targeted deals via daily email alerts, giving consumers the opportunity to register free to receive information on the best deals available in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The venture will eventually be rolled out to include other Scottish cities.
STV said its classified team was working closely with local retailers and other businesses to source suitable deals. The launch will be supported by a promotional email and online campaign, with a television campaign being aired in September.

The Daily Deals platform is powered by US technical partner Analog Analytics.
