Sonder Living expands into UK

Sonder Living, the US home furnishings and lifestyle store, is to expand into the UK with the opening of a concession in the Harrods department store.

With four stores already trading in the US as well as various locations in Asia and the Middle East, the company will open the Harrods space in September.

Spanning 2,600 square feet on the third floor at Harrods, the space will stock UK brands such as Kelly Hoppen, Andrew Martin and Boyd as well as LA based brand Thomas Bina. Also available will be lighting by Nellcote Studio, wall art by Coup&Co and design-led home accessories by Lily Koi.

Steven Hubbard, chief commercial officer at Sonder Living, said: “Our arrival in London represents a significant milestone for the Sonder Living concept, and an opportunity to introduce our diverse range of global designer brands into a new market. We look forward to working in partnership with a world leader in retail like Harrods, who shares our passion for design excellence, great craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.”

Launched just over a year ago, Sonder Living is planning to have over 30 international store locations opened by the end of 2018.
