Smythson launches new e-commerce website
Instead of employing separate views for web, mobile or tablet browsing, the website features custom 'responsive templates', using a single user interface and platform that automatically adjusts to scale to fit any iPad, smartphone or desktop device.
Smythson said the techniques and technology used enables the site to accommodate different screen resolutions without compromising the user's brand experience.
Developed with agency partner Session Digital, the website also features enhanced functionality and graphics including personalisation previews and a check out process in three steps.
Smythson said the launch of the website is the first step in the expansion and enhancement of its brand image worldwide.
