Smiggle to open at Frenchgate
Australian stationery brand Smiggle is to join the line-up at DoncasterÂ’s Frenchgate shopping centre as part of plans to open 200 new outlets across the country by 2019.
The new store will open its doors on 17 June.
As well as stocking colourful and quirky stationery aimed at children, the store will also sell a range of bags, lunch boxes, drinks bottles, watches, clocks, lighting, toys and games.
Managing director of Smiggle John Cheston said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our 62nd store. There really is nothing like Smiggle anywhere else on the high street – and it will be great to see the public’s reaction when the doors open on the 17th.
“It’s important for us to inject fun into everything we do – from product design to store design, we will always focus on delivering to our fans the most original and playful stationery possible.”
Karen Staniforth, marketing manager at Frenchgate added: “We can’t wait to welcome a fun and fashion-forward brand like Smiggle to the centre.”
Smiggle’s new store follows a total of 22 new lettings for Frenchgate in 2015 including a 15,800 square foot store for New Look.
