Selfridges promotes Sebastian Manes to buying director role
Selfridges, the luxury department store, has promoted Sebastian Manes to the role of buying and merchandising director.
Having joined Selfridges in 2003, Manes was previously responsible for buying womenswear, childrenswear and accessories. In his new role, Manes will add menswear, home and leisure to his remit while continuing to report to Selfridges managing director Anne Pitcher.
The appointment follows the departure of buying director David Walker-Smith, who left Selfridges in December 2012 to become managing director of Fenwick’s Bond street store.
