Roksanda Ilincic to open London store
Fashion designer Roksanda Ilincic is to launch a debut flagship store in Londons Mayfair next year.
The store, which will open in early 2014, will be situated in a Grade II listed building in Mount Street. The new shop will be designed in partnership with architect David Adjaye.
During the next three weeks, the premises will feature an installation in the shop window which has been designed by internationally acclaimed set designer Gary Card. The installation features dresses from Ilincic’s collaboration with The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, which will be available exclusively from Net-A-Porter.
Ilincic said: “Opening our first store is a huge milestone. It’s crucial that it’s here in London – the store will be the home for the brand in more ways than one and will be the ideal space for my vision for the label to be fully realised.”
