Richer Sounds wins top consumer award

Richer Sounds has been named Best High Street Retailer for the second year running at this year’s Which? Awards.

The electrical retailer was awarded five stars out of five for price and service in the most recent Which? customer satisfaction survey, and achieved an overall Which? customer score of 86%.

Lizearle.com was named Best Online Retailer, scoring 94% in the Which? satisfaction survey, and won five stars out of five for its products, delivery and website usability.

The award for Best Supermarket went to Waitrose. The grocer scored 85% in the Which? satisfaction survey, and Which? members praised it for its great service and making shopping a pleasure.

Peter Vicary-Smith, chief executive of Which?, said: "To win a Which? Award, not only must a company offer outstanding products or services, it must also deliver exceptional value and a great customer experience.  This is especially important at a time when consumers are really feeling the pinch."

He added: “While all those in the shortlist performed well over the past 12 months, Richer Sounds, LizEarle.com and Waitrose all stood out thanks to their impressive performances in Which? satisfaction surveys, as well as going the extra mile to please their customers.”
