Richemont to propose Sophie Guieysse for election to its board of directors

Luxury goods group Richemont has announced plans to appoint Sophie Guieysse as an executive director on the board of directors of Compagnie Financière Richemont.

Guieysse will be put forward for election to the role at the company’s AGM which will be held on 10 September.

Currently group human resources director of Richemont and a member of its senior executive committee, she joined Richemont in her current capacity in October 2017 from Dior. She currently sits on the board of directors at Maisons du Monde wher se is chairman of the nominations and compensation committee. In addition, she is a member of the remuneration committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Organising Committee and of the 2023 Rugby World Cup Organising Committee.

At Richemont, Guieysse will report to Jerome Lambert, its group chief operating officer, who is also a director on the of board Compagnie Financière Richemont.

Richemont’s group of luxury brands includes jewellers Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Giampiero Bodino, watchmakers A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Officine Panerai, Piaget, Roger Dubuis and Vacheron Constantin, as well as Alfred Dunhill, Azzedine Alaïa, Chloé, Montblanc and Peter Millar. It also owns online luxury retailer Yoox Net-A-Porter.
