PLAYMOBIL launches Intu shopping centre campaign
Every Intu centre will host the branded spaces for a two week-period from the end of July as part of their summer activity line-up to give PLAYMOBIL the chance to reach families visiting the centres during the school holidays.
The themed areas will feature a range of PLAYMOBIL toys and children will be given a free PLAYMOBIL gift at the end of their visit.
Jamie Dickinson, PLAYMOBIL marketing manager, said:“Intu’s nationwide portfolio of popular shopping centres is the perfect platform for us to bring children a special PLAYMOBIL experience this summer.”
The move follows Intu and PLAYMOBIL’s previous partnership at the end of last year when the two brands joined forces to create a Christmas grotto experience for customers at eight Intu centres.
Roger Binks, customer experience director at Intu, said: “We’re looking forward to revisiting our successful Christmas partnership with PLAYMOBIL with a fantastic new summer experience.
“70% of Intu customers are from a family demographic so we’ve worked closely with PLAYMOBIL to put together this activity that will help them to flourish in our centres and bring a smile to the face of our customers.”
