Penhaligon's launches pop-up barber service
British fragrance house Penhaligons has gone back to its roots by launching a pop-up barber service at its store in Londons Wellington Street.
To celebrate the launch of the new Penhaligon No. 33 Eau de Cologne and grooming range, Penhaligon’s is offering customers the chance to experience the products with complimentary wet shaves and beard treatments.
Penhaligon’s said the range is inspired by the brand’s origins at No. 33 St James’s Street, where William Penhaligon set up as a barber in the early 1870s.
As part of the promotion, the brand has partnered with London barber, Jack the Clipper, to provide a range of barbering services free of charge every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 16 August.
Jack the Clipper said: “Just like William Penhaligon, Jack the Clipper is known for his razor sharp wit and classic cutting-edge style. Armed with cockney charm, hot towels and balm, Jack’s master barbers are proud and ready to give Penhaligon’s Wellington Street gentlemen the most luxurious shave of their lives.”
