Parcelforce Worldwide trials self-serve kiosks

Parcelforce Worldwide is piloting self-serve kiosks in its London Central, Newcastle and Milton Keynes depots as part of plans to give customers a speedier experience when sending items from its depots.

Throughout the trial, customers will be able to pay for a parcel shipment at the kiosk, or pay for a parcel shipment online and use a mobile QR code to print labels on-site at the depot, before handing the parcel to counter staff.

They will also be able to select their own delivery service based on their needs.

With the trial running until 14 September, customers will have access to the kiosks on weekdays from 8am to 7pm and from 8am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.

A spokesperson from Parcelforce Worldwide said: “With these self-serve kiosks, it means that our customers don’t need to have a printer at home and can utilise our self-serve kiosks in order to quickly and easily send and print labels in our depots. We are very interested in the outcome of the trial to understand whether customers find it a positive experience.”
