Nisa appoints Robin Brown as CFO

Nisa’s interim finance director, Robin Brown, has agreed to accept a permanent position with the company as chief financial officer.

Brown joined the symbol group in May as part of chief executive Nick Read’s management restructure. Prior to Nisa, he held senior positions at Morrisons, BOC Edwards and Polaroid.

Commenting on the appointment, Read said: “We are thrilled that Robin has accepted a permanent role with Nisa, as it signals his confidence in our business model and our plans to return Nisa to profitable growth. Robin has been instrumental in our positive work with the bank and credit market and his diligent financial management has given Nisa a strong platform on which to build for the future.”

At Morrisons, Brown was finance director for the supermarket’s food online business and for its Kiddicare.com and merger and acquisitions divisions.
