New Lettings at Emery Gate Shopping Centre, Chippenham

Lone Eagle Retail Ltd, represented by Savills, has let Units 9 and 10 at the Emery Gate Shopping Centre, Chippenham to Orange Personal Communications Services Ltd and Sportswift Limited respectively.

Orange has taken a unit totalling 1,021 sq ft (95 sq m) on a new 10-year lease and will pay an annual rent of £42,500.

Sportswift Limited, trading as Card Factory, has agreed a new 10-year lease on a unit providing 991 sq ft (92 sq m) of sales accommodation (plus basement). The greeting card retailer will pay £40,000 per annum.

The lettings are in addition to recent lettings of Kiosk 3 and 4 in the scheme to a new catering operation and a mobility phone accessories retailer.

Chris O’Mahony, director at Savills, comments: “Emery Gate Shopping Centre continues to draw top quality retailers to Chippenham. Orange and Card Factory join an already strong tenant mix which includes Tesco, Curry’s Digital, Peacock and Dorothy Perkins.”

Orange was represented by Cushman and Wakefield and Sportswift Limited was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle.
