MySale Group sells Cocosa to Brand Alley UK

MySale Group is to sell the trade and assets of online retailer Cocosa to Brandalley UK for £1.5 million.

With the business being the group’s main trading website in the UK, the sale forms part of MySale’s strategy to increase its focus on its Australian and New Zealand markets.

The sale is expected to complete on 9 May 2019.

Carl Jackson, chief executive of MySale Group, said: “This disposal represents a key step in accelerating our ‘ANZ First’ strategy, which looks to optimise our scale, resources and market position in the region.

“With this more streamlined and focused approach, we can provide an improved offering for both our customers and brand partners.”

In the year to June 2018, the business achieved revenue of A$15.7 million and incurred a loss before tax of A$0.4 million.
