Mulberry names Johnny Coca as new creative director
Coca will succeed Emma Hill who left Mulberry last year. Hill has been credited with turning the company into one of the UK’s most celebrated luxury brands.
Due to take up his new role in July 2015, Coca is currently head design director for leather goods, shoes, hard accessories, jewellery and sunglasses at Céline.
As Mulberry's creative director, Coca will be responsible for all of Mulberry's collections, reporting to chairman and chief executive Godfrey Davis.
Davis said: "We are delighted that Johnny is joining us. He has a wealth of international luxury and fashion experience that will help us bring new energy and innovation to Mulberry."
