M&S launches TV app with Samsung
The new app, which is available to download from Samsung’s Smart TV App store, has been developed in collaboration with the multi-channel video agency Adjust Your Set. It will give viewers access to the latest in high street trends as well as tips on lifestyle, food, fashion and technology.
M&S is the first high street retailer to launch a TV app. Susan Aubrey-Cound, director for new channels at Marks & Spencer explaind: "We’re continually exploring innovative, new ways to engage and interact with our customers.
"This app enables customers to discover more about our products and innovations from the comfort of their living rooms, whilst supporting our broader marketing channels."
Samsung is one of the first electronics companies to develop a TV with App functionality.
