Mobile -the biggest opportunity in multi-channel retail
This session will allow delegates to ask the panel for their views on some of the key questions in mobile retail strategy in order to make informed decisions on how to exploit this huge opportunity in the multi-channel arena.
Questions asked will include ‘How big is the mobile retailing opportunity - how will the business case develop in the next 2 years’? Plus ’How can you best integrate mobile into your multichannel strategy’ – and much more.
Commenting, Jon Asbury told the Retail Bulletin, “At a time when customers appear to be adopting technology more rapidly that retailers can implement it is even more important to understand customer shopping behaviour and how increasingly multiple channels are contributing to completion of a shopping mission. Halfords has been observing trends in mobile usage for almost 3 years and now has more than 12 months transactional data from shoppers using the mobile site and more recently apps. POS has been implemented in stores to help customers use Smartphones to select the right battery or oil for their car and we are making extensive use of QR codes to link the store shopping experience with relevant mobile content”.
The Retail Bulletin’s Multi-channel retailing summit will examine how retailers can maximise profits and market share through cost effective, engaging and seamlessly integrated multi-channel strategies. The one-day event will be fully interactive and gives delegates the chance to ask questions and discover insights from retail experts in the multi-channel space.
