Missguided hails 'outstanding' weekend of sales
Having recently launched its second collaboration with singer Nicole Scherzinger, the retailer offered 20% discounts on its entire range over the weekend, together with flash sales and giveaway competitions.
On Black Friday, Missguided exceeded its £1 million target for the day with a 200% uplift in sales year-on-year. Over the four day weekend period, which included Cyber Monday, sales increased by 180%.
Nitin Passi, founder and managing director of Missguided, said: “We are thrilled with our strong performance over the cyber weekend and this is a testament to the hard work we have been doing over the last year in improving our product offer and mix and the performance of our platform.
“Our marketing strategy of strategic discounts whilst maintaining a healthy margin have meant that we have really been able to capitalize on what has been our most successful four days to date.”
