Melissa opens London pop-up store
The launch of the temporary shop was celebrated with an event hosted by artist Julie Verhoeven who together with graphic artist Kleber Matheus created Melissa-inspired interior installations for the store.
Commenting on the installations Verhoeven said: "Installation Barefoot on Hometurf celebrates Melissa cart wheeling into London and the city's rich history of street culture. I wished to produce a riotous, vibrant wall collage rendered in an anarchic London spirit."
The Covent Garden store is the first standalone store in London for the 30 year old Brazilian brand.
